Transformers: Age of Extinction

Transformers Age of Extinction or simply Transformersis a 2014 3D science fiction action film based on the Transformers franchise. It is the fourth installment of the liveaction Transformers film series. It is a sequel to 2011s Dark of the Moon, taking place five years after the battle of Chicago. Like its predecessors, it was directed by Michael Bay and written by Ehren Kruger, with Steven Spielberg and Bay as executive producers. It stars Mark Wahlberg in the lead role, with Peter Cullen reprising his role as the voice of Optimus Prime. It is the first film in the series to not feature the original human characters from the first three films, but features a whole new cast of human characters and twentytwo new Transformers, including the Dinobots for the first time in the series. Returning Transformers include Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Leadfoot, Brains, and Megatron now known as Galvatron. The film was released on June 27, 2014, in IMAX and 3D.

Five years after the Battle of Chicago, the Transformers are feared and hated by humanity. While the public is informed that the Autobots are living in peace, they are in fact being hunted and executed by a rogue CIA black ops unit, Cemetery Wind led by U.S. government official Harold Attinger. The unit is aided by Lockdown, a Cybertronian bounty hunter, who is searching for Optimus Prime in order to take him to his extraterrestrial clients known as the Creators. Optimus evades Lockdown in Mexico City, disguised as a rundown semitruck.Optimus truck form is bought by Cade Yeager, a struggling Texan inventor who faces financial ruin and has a strained relationship with his teenage daughter Tessa, forbidding her from dating. Discovering the truck is Optimus, Cade helps repair him. Cades business partner Lucas Flannery, contacts the authorities as per the law, leading to Cemetery Wind and Lockdown to attack the Yeager farm. Optimus and Tessas secret boyfriend, rally car driver Shane Dyson, rescue Cade, Tessa, and Lucas, but the latter is killed by one of Lockdowns hand grenades. Forced to go on the run, Optimus and the Yeagers meet the other surviving Autobots Bumblebee, Hound, Drift, and Crosshairs. Using a drone Cade snatched from Cemetery Wind, they discover the technology firm Kinetic Solutions Incorporated KSI is in league with their pursuers. ........
